My painting practice concerns itself with the beauty of the human spirit as it turns to nature for

renewal: intimate narratives, suspended in time, contemplate the land and our deep

connection to nature. It is a continual discovery that reflects the intricacies of collective moments, memories, connections to place, and the inherent poetry of the land.  The perfume of a flower, the touch of fabric, the changing of the seasons or the sound of music, can elicit in each one of us a sense of connection to a specific place, moment in time, or loved one. This relies upon an intricate relationship between place, memory, and imagination.

Christine has been exhibiting internationally with group and solo shows in London, France, Washington and Edinburgh. Recently she was commissioned by musician Kelly Jones of Stereophonics to design the art work for his solo  album Inevitable Incredible.  Christine was also approached by Edinburgh’s new W Hotel as part of the St James redevelopment to create a bespoke piece for their master suite.  Her work can be found in private collections around the world. Clark studied painting at Edinburgh College of Art graduating in 2006, she currently works from her central Edinburgh studio.
