Artist Statement
Christine Clark (b. 1984) is an Edinburgh-based painter whose atmospheric work explores resilience, renewal, belonging, and our connection to each other and the natural world.
A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art (2006), Christine has exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions across the UK, France, and the United States. Her work has been commissioned by Kelly Jones of Stereophonics for his solo album Inevitable Incredible. She has exhibited with Morningside Gallery, Dalkeith Palace, Graystone Gallery, and was shortlisted for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, London (2019).
Christine’s paintings are held in private collections worldwide and in institutional collections, including the Art in Healthcare Collection, following a private commission for Forensic Mental Health Services, Perth (2016). Most recently, her painting 'Under the Night Sky' was selected for the Royal Scottish Academy’s 200th Annual Exhibition (2026).
